Incubators are suitable for variety of uses like drying of slides, paraffin embedding, tissue culture work incubation of anti body test, microbiological determination incubation of hydroxy steroids and crystallization studies. Incubators are suitable for temperature up to 80C with accuracy of 1C. All external cases are made of mild steel, often with strong seamless welding and covered with a thick layer of stoved epoxy polyester paint, which provide a strong, highly screech and heat resistant surface for a long lasting attractive finish. Internal surfaces (including the doors) of the incubator are manufactured from either aluminium or stainless steel, with great care in order to eliminate sharp edges. The double walled chamber is filled with high grade insulation to prevent heat loss. Elements are of the sheathed black heat type are put inside beads and placed at the bottom and in both the side ribs are placed for uniform temperature. The Incubator door closes on to an asbestos gasket and fitted with a glass window. The shelves slide neatly into the fixed runners. The fixed ventilators on Incubator are provided on both side of the wall. The thermometer is provided on the top of incubator to check the temperature. The incubator is mounted on four rubber feet to prevent slipping and this protects the bench surface. The control panel houses a main ON/OFF switch indicator lamp and temperature setting knob.
