To show the differences in expansion of different liquids over the same temperature. Comprising five bulb tubes with scales, mounted in a frame & supported in a G.I. sheet water trough 240x100x75mm deep. The frame has clamps to secure it to the trough & two cross members having holes & upper tubules to locate the bulb tubes in bungs complete with 35mm diameter bulbs & 150mm scales etc.
The bulb is carried upon a metal stand, which leaves it free to rotate about its horizontal axis. If about 25 to 30ml of water are introduced into the bulb and boiled the issuing steam causes rapid rotation. Supplied without burner.
